Fabric Flowers

Today I am going to share how I make my fabric flowers.  On the card below I have used organza to make the flowers, in the little tutorial I have used cotton quilting fabric.  You can use any fabric, even thicker fabrics such as velvet.

I've added the notes on each photo to keep it simple.

I made two different sized flowers for this card.  The image and sentiment is from the new Whiff of Joy Store Stamp kit that is only available from stores that have elected to stock the kits.  The list of stores is on the Whiff of Joy website here

I hope you will find this useful, looking forward to seeing lots of fabric flowers in blogland.

Are these papers just gorgeous!  The are Craft Creations, so pretty.  I have coloured Willow with Copics (on SU Whisper White – this card seems to really give a lovely soft effect with Copics).  The pearls were stuck down after marking out some scrolls using on of the Bazzill jewel templates.  The flowers are from Crafty Feeling (the new kit) and the flower centres are from The Hobby House (I can’t see them on the website so will add the link here when I find them).  The tear drop pearl pins are here
